Getting started: Figuring out where to go and how to get there.

I've added some lists of my favorite books and websites and I use when I travel that could inspire you on your own adventure. I just wanted to point out a website that has been very helpful to me and that is www.goabroad.com. This website can help you on your quest to spend some quality time in a foreign country. You can find lists of jobs and study abroad programs that will give you a chance to get out there. The site is easy to use and has lots of helpful information and will connect you to other websites of specific programs.

Plus, if you want to travel this summer I would suggest getting on top of things, because the best time to buy airline tickets is usually 2-4 months before you want to leave. Generally that is when you will find the best prices because airlines start advertising "last minute" fares. I'm not a travel agent, but I know from experience that this is always when I find the best deals on airfare.
